    I integrated my Mojang account to my Microsoft account, but then I can't play multiplayer...


    For some reason. I can't play Minecraft multiplayer because the settings don't allow me to set it to allow online play since I'm in a family, which I'm not. And when I try to access my Profile settings, it sends me to "Why can’t I change my privacy settings?" help page.
    So I'm not in a family, even though it says that I am, but then I can't see anyone or anything that shows what family i'm supposedly in, Is this a glitch or something else I'm missing?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    If you’re a minor, you need to ask an adult to manage your account for you. Ask them to add you under a family group via https://account.microsoft.com/family as a member. Once done, ask them to sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings to manage your account settings.

    I do not have a receipt for Minecraft Java Edition on my Microsoft account because I bought it through the Mojang store before the Microsoft/Mojang account integration that happened a few years ago. Thus, my Microsoft account doesn't have a receipt for it because I didn't buy it through Microsoft. I can give my Minecraft username as evidence that I had a copy of Java Edition but besides that I have no other evidence. Now that my Mojang account has been migrated to Microsoft, I can't log in to it to prove I own a copy of Java Edition.

    I got minecrat from Microsoft Store. So the account I bought was already a microsoft account. My account has nothing to do with mojang. I can't send verification code because I didn't get it from Mojang. My account is already microsoft account, why do I need verification but? I'm not a Mojang account

    Sorry, I was very unclear with my earlier question.

    I have a Mojang account that was transferred into a Microsoft account, but when I started up Minecraft, it wouldn't let me join multiplayer, and I now I can't change my settings or check what family i'm apparently in since I'm in a family for some reason.
