i downloaded the fallout 76 xbox game from game pass and launched in it in xbox companion on on my pc. It launches to the load screen but when i select play it gives me the profile privileges message.

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4590S CPU @ 3.00GHz

GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB

I have had similar issues with the game Astroneer, however it did launch eventually, it just gave me a grey screen.

To try to fix Fallout 76, I have tried repairing the game, repairing game services, uninstalling game services and reinstalling game services through PowerShell.

Hello, just to inform, I am having the same problem. Got Fallout 76 on the Microsoft Store as a gift from Amazon Prime Gaming. Installed it and, when launching, it opens a small window with a message stating that the game is starting... and then suddenly closes. So it is a generalised problem, maybe because of compatibility or something like that.
