    I haven't received Xbox Live Reward credits for purchases in a couple years.


    'XBLRewards8' completely disregarded my question and locked my last thread without answering it in the slightest, so, of course, I have to make a new thread.

    UPDATE TO ORIGINAL:

    In 2017, I had far more than $300 worth of eligible purchases. Again, as I said before: I have not been credited for any of my purchases past November, 2016. Instead of leaving a condescending message claiming I was not up to date on how the rewards program
    works like XBLRewards8 did, I would appreciate someone actually looking into my account and not immediately locking my post after replying.

    I started experiencing problems with my microsoft account after changing the email a couple years ago. Account related emails still went to my old email, and I no longer earned reward credits on any purchase. I also was unable to apply any reward credits
    to purchases on my xbox. I was previously able to make one purchase with reward credits before this problem happened. My balance has been around 60,000 for a couple years and has not changed, but I get a monthly reward report each month to an old email (the
    report always says zero credits earned).

    I have probably spent several thousand USD in the last couple years, and have not received reward credits for any of these purchases.

    Seems I can't edit this post, but the last time I received reward credits, according to rewards.xbox.com, was in 2016. I have probably spent $2000-4000 on this account since then. This is a massive amount of points that I am missing.

    In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates. Subscriptions, in-game consumables, and preorders do not count towards
    VIP. So it's possible to make purchases that do not receive credits.

    Not just offers, purchases. I probably purchased $500+ of regular games alone last year, and did not get MyVIP rank increase or credits for any of them. There are also many 'special offers' ie: pre-order certain game, get 5,000 credits that I have completed
    over the last year and a half and have received nothing from.

    Should they not have counted towards MyVip, ie: $300 of eligible purchases? Also, do see above in terms of special offers that have not received promised credits. I've tried editing comments, but the xbox forum has to be the worst forum I've ever used.
    Half the site's buttons are broken.

    Those would be offers. If you can list any specific offers you remember, support can check into those. Most of the preorder offers have involved preordered 3-5 games.

    If they were eligible purchases, then yes. Again, subscriptions, in-game consumables, and preorders would not have counted.

    These offers have just been over the last year and a half, unfortunately xbox.com doesn't list special offer history that I'm aware of so I can't cite them without a reference.

    And yes, far more than $300 in purchases that were not subscriptions, in-game consumables, or preorders.

    After reviewing your account, it looks you may not be up to date with our program, as mentioned in our response to your previous post (I haven't received Xbox Live Reward credits for purchases in a couple years).

    As mentioned there, MyVIP has a yearly recalibration in which your VIP star level for the year is determined by your eligible spending from the previous time span. Since you only had 136.05 in eligible spending for the entire year of 2016 (January 2016 -
    December 2016), you did not qualify for any MyVIP stars after the end of 2016. The minimum requirement for your first star is $300 USD.

    We did not reset this year (December 2017), so your total spending and progress displayed on your MyRewards page from last year and so far this year is correct. Based on your further posts, it sounds like you may not know what a game consumable, subscription,
    or pre-order is. As mentioned in the previous post and responses in this thread, those purchase types are not eligible for MyVIP:

    A game consumable would be items you purchase and "consume" for a title, such as in-game currency like FIFA points for use in FIFA titles, or Destiny Silver from Destiny, Overwatch Loot Boxes from Overwatch, or Gems and consumable starter packages from games
    like Trove.

    A subscription would be any subscription based service, like Xbox Live Gold.

    A pre-order is a purchase you make before an offer's release date. Generally, a product's page will alert you when the purchase you are making is before the release date, and you will usually find you will not be able to play or perhaps even download the
    title since the game is not released.

    You can see a total overview of your purchase history from your commerce page at (Sign in to your Microsoft account). Of the total you spent there, the overwhelming majority of your spending in the last and current
    year were for pre-order titles and in-game consumables, which, as mentioned previously and in this thread, are not eligible for MyVIP. Also as mentioned in the previous thread, you can earn Credits from either offers or MyVIP payback.Since you have no MyVIP
    star, these purchases did not award payback Credits. While your purchases completed a FREEdom offer from a certain month, your purchases did not complete any other offers.
