I have Xbox Live until 5/21 next year, so why is my xbox asking me to renew?

Try to delete and re-download your Xbox Live profile on your console to have it refreshed.

If it still does the same thing, give Xbox Support a ring to check on your account.

I have the same/similar issue. My xbox live gold has been renewed until next year, but my home screen keeps saying "time is running out" and "don't lose gold."

I tested the waters and it seems that the trial does indeed stack. I registered on 11/19 and, if I opt for a year's subscription now, my next billing will be 12/21/14. Not sure why the extra two days though.

I happened on a link that brought me to a promotion of a year for $5/mo. I jumped on that, but sadly the deal no longer exists. Does Live run these offers regularly?
