    Xbox Live permission?

    I am trying to play Fortnite but it keeps asking me to join Xbox Live Gold even though I already redeemed my code. It says i don't have the "correct permission to access Xbox LIVE functionality"

    so I'm trying to play fortnite and I keep getting a message saying that my account doesn't give permission for Xbox live and then it directs me to buy gold but I have a years worth of gold

    Why i must buy Xbox Live Gold when i want to play Fortnite or other multiplayer games (free to play games too)?? Because my parents doesn't want to buy xbox live Gold... please help!!
    As soon as you want to play online multiplayer games on Xbox through your console, you will need a paid Gold membership.

    If your parents don't want to pay for Xbox Live Gold, you could play Fortnite on a PC for free.

    Bought Xbox live gold after it had expired. Account shows it was purchased, but on xbox, party chat and online play bring me to a screen to buy gold.

    I'm having the same issue. Even deleted account. But it shoes that I purchased live gold but when my daughter goes and plays fortnite it asks to sign up for gold

    okay NEW follow up. i think i have solved the problem and i am asking you if it is right. so you don’t need xbox live gold to play free to play games right..? i don’t have xbox live gold currently becuase i deleted call of duty like 6 months ago and have just been playing fortnite (A free to play game) with my friends since then really. due to this i unsubscribed from xbox live gold. but now i need xbox live gold back to play guys i had to buy like among us..? Lastly would getting xbox live gold allow me to play online with other games i got on the gamepass..? Thank you. and please let me know

    Xbox Error 8c15009, Xbox Gold Live not working.

    It tells me I have error 8C15009. Sorry their is a problem with Xbox Service try again latter. "Been trying for about 2 Weeks, Patience gone"

    Cannot download from Xbox gold live. Cannot play games that require Xbox Gold Live, Ask me to buy Xbox gold live when I have a 12 Month paid subscription. Cannot enter manage membership. Cannot enter redeem code. Cannot enter Purchase history.

    It will connect to Xbox live just not Xbox Gold.

    To put it simply my Xbox 360 cannot use the 4 months of Xbox gold live I have in my account.

    When I use a PC I can enter the account and all features and it shows I have 4 months of Xbox gold live to go.

    Everything worked fine until a couple of weeks ago.

    As I mentioned Xbox support cannot fix it.
