    So, I tried to get on my 360 today only to notice that it says I don't have live, so I try a couple of unused codes for a couple of days and those don't work, then I try my Xbox One and xbox live works on that and it says I have Xbox live when I check my
    account on the website. I honestly do not know what to do right now.

    When you are able to let's try a full power cycle with all the steps in our
    power cycle guide
    . After that please let us know if you still see that messaging when trying to play online.

    Xbox says I don't have Live, but I do

    A few days ago I was trying to play Fortnite with a friend who I was already in a party with, but when I tried to load into the game it brought me to a screen telling me I needed to subscribe to Xbox Live Gold to play the game. The thing is, I have Xbox
    Live Gold, and according to my Xbox the subscription expires 2/19/2019. I tried loading into GTA online to see if Fortnite was the issue, but I couldn't play online there either. I then reset my Xbox, and when I tried to rejoin my friend's party, it brought
    me to the same screen saying I needed to buy Gold, and since then I've been unable to join parties. I've done some research and found people who have had similar issues that have since been solved, and tried replicating those solutions. I cleared the cache
    of my Xbox, which didn't work, then I removed/re-added my account to my Xbox, which also didn't work. I can't find anything else on the issue, so I decided to post here in the hopes of finding a solution to this.

    Hey mate, what you need to do is delete your profile from the Xbox 360 (profile only), clear the system cache. Restart the console and re-download your profile and your gold sub should hopefully be there.

    -

    Delete and re-download profile:
    support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete


    -

    Clear system cache:
    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache


    -

    Also if you use trial codes on top of your actual Xbox Live gold membership they won't work as trials don't stack on top of normal gold memberships, only 1 month and up will stack, but only to the equivalent of 3 years I think it is.

    Since you are shown on the forum as a proper gold member, please follow the instructions from the websites linked above properly. The most important thing is: Clear your system cache and make sure you use the "Download Profile" option. If you are currently
    signed in on your console, press the Guide button, and then X. Then with the Guide menu still open, use the "Download Profile" option. Use the same email as you did here on the website to sign in.

    If you do NOT use the Two Step Verification, use your normal password to download the profile. If you have Two Step Verification enabled, you need to
    create an app password here, and use that instead of your normal password.

    After the console has properly downloaded your Gamertag, you should be golden.

    Downloading the Gamertag forces the Xbox to check the Gold status on the Live server instead of your console profile.

    And this should 100% make you golden, as long as you are shown as a Gold member here on the website.

    Do not simply sign out and then back in on your console, as this sometimes doesn't properly sync your profile with the Live service. Only the profile download will.
