I have Xbox 360: Are these games below going to be backward compatible?

I have Xbox 360: Kinect sports 2; Kinect sports Ultimate Collection. Are these going to be backward compatible.

I got loads of xbox 360 games on cd rom disc and they are not working for backwards compatibility even though these games are on the official list of backwards compatible games. What is wrong? I read online that xbox 360 games on disc are also supposed
to be backwards compatible with xbox one.

Hello there are quite a few Xbox 360 game that are backwards compatible. If the games you have are on the listed below then you should be able to use your discs on the 360.

However, please bear in mind that compilation discs that also include extra content will sometimes not work.

 

Since the Kinect itself is not backwards compatible and Kinect for the One has been discontinued, it's highly unlikely.

 

It was stated just before the backward compatibility was started, that kinect games for the Xbox 360 would not become backward compatible. Same goes for other games that relied on another peripheral, eg Rock Band, Scene It, DJ Hero, etc, etc.

 

Unfortunately the short answer is no. With xbox leaving the Kinect behind they also left the games that use it. It would be wonderful if they continued to support the Kinect but they have decided to not.
