I have waited a month.

I bought an XboxOne S (UK) on the 14th October, with a GoW4 code card in the box.

I had a few issues redeeming the code, and after contacting support, I was advised to activate it using the xbox app on Windows 10. This worked great and I played the game on Pc and Xbox.

Support also told me I was eligible for the Xbox360 GoW games, as a promotion was running. I was informed I would receive these codes within a month, as a message over xbox live.

It has now been a month, and still no codes. Hopefully this can be sorted out soon, as it seems like an empty promise of legacy games, that a lot of people are waiting for.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. This would not be something to "Fix" unfortunately. This is how the security feature is designed. If you have to update your security information without having access to any of your security proffs (Only knowing
the password), you get this type of lock on your account. You are stil lable to use your account to play games, you just cant do anything to adjust security and privacy settings during that time frame. The month is there to allow you to regain access to your
account just incase there was unauthorized access to your account.

For example, if someone knew your password and then used it to add their own phone number to your account. If that happened, you can login and cancel it within that month to stop the unauthorized access/takeover of your account. I hope this helps shed some
light on the situation.

I'm having the same issue although it won't let me download warzone, so i'll need to wait a month until i can play it.

I will give it a try. I doubt it'll work though, since we hadn't selected any games, so it would be strange if we had clicked on 'transfer'. I'll let you know how it works out.
