I have unauthorized purchases for Minecraft that need to be reversed.

My grandson purchased several Minecraft games from the Microsoft Store without my permission. I have since changed my password and removed the authorized payment method from the system.

Can I request that the purchases in my Order History be reversed?

You can contact your credit card company and explain the situation to them and they will initiate a credit card number change to prevent unauthorized charges to your account. Alternatively if you have set up that you need to authorize a purchase that incurs
a charge before they are completed then you shouldn't need to worry. Just monitor your credit card and if an unauthorized charge occurs then you can contact your credit card company to have it reversed. Most credit card companies allow you dispute a charge
that was not made by you within a certain timeframe. So as long as you monitor it you won't be held responsible if a charge does indeed occur.

It shouldn't make a difference. If MS finishes investigation they will directly refund unauthorized charges, or if PayPal reverses them before MS is done you will also get money back for unauthorized charges.

January 6th - Unauthorized Access - person downloaded my profile and purchased 10,000 points on my linked paypal and attempted to add their email to my Windows Live. Reported after I took precautions to prevent further damage and secure my accounts.

January 7th - still under investigation, but the charges have been reversed on paypal.

Hey Scuba, again, I'm afraid I must reiterate the point made above--all purchases on the LIVE Marketplace are final and cannot be reversed. If you have family members who want to use LIVE, but you're worried about unauthorized purchases, I strongly recommend
checking out the
Gold Family Pack. This will allow you to make purchases on your account, and will prevent your son from making unauthorized purchases in the future. I know you've worked with phone support to address this issue already, but if you would like to continue
making secure purchases on the console, I think this may be your best bet.
