I have two mircosoft accounts with the same email

I have to mircosoft accounts i use for xbox and I recently changed ones email to the same one as the other account. I was wondering if this will mess with anything or how would I even sign in. It has not gonna threw yet and is still waiting for another 20 days. I did this because I had To change the email because it had no storage and I was not receiving emails anymore

When I click on the first link it shows that my information is pending to change. Should I cancel the request and use a different email for my account?

I found this strange, the system doesn't let you have the same email address as an alias (unless you already have an existing and different Microsoft domain email added as an alias and the "duplicated" email is a non-Microsoft domain)
