I have two Gamertags! How to change one Gamertag?

Hello!

I am beginner with Windows 10 since 6 months. I have changed my email with outlook. I have removed email with Google. Outlook is better. Windows 10 was broken and then I have installed fresh new Windows 10. But why I got two username
"ZilleOutdoor" and "". I have checked so my username is "". It is not true. Really is "ZilleOutdoor". How I get my really user name "ZilleOutdoor" and how I delete ""?

I need help please!!! I am almost Deaf with sign language. Thank you!

Problem !

Microsoft don't change gamertags for free, unfortunately. You'll have to buy two more gamertag changes: one random and then the correct one, since Zeynox and ZeynoX is the same in the system.

P.S. Or I think, the support to delete "ZilleOutdoor". And then to change "" to "ZilleOutdoor". I have one free for change a user name. I hope it works. I am waiting ...

There are several reasons why you are seeing two gamertags on your account. Once you create a new email address and used it to log in on the Xbox App, it will automatically generate a new gamertag. In your case, it is possible that the new gamertag is attached
to the new email address that you created. To resolve your concern, we suggest that you sign in to Xbox app using the old email address so you can use your preferred gamertag.

You can also remove the gamertag from the account by changing the email address. You can follow the steps on this

link on how to change the email address associated with your Microsoft account.

For additional troubleshooting steps and to verify if your account settings are set up correctly, you may contact Xbox Chat Support or request a call on this

Thank you for replying! I noticed that i have to pay and im fine with it, but i am fine with the gamertag i have currently ( the one with the discord #) and i just want to change the classic gamertag ( the one that shows in game) but in order to
change the classic one i have to choose a new gamertag ( with the #) but i dont want to do that, i tried retyping the one im already using but it says i own it and u cant change it.

Well, if I understood you well, the thing is you are considering the two gamertags as something different, but at the end you only have one, not two, so you cannot change "only one". How the gamertag shows in game depends on how the new GT# system
has been managed by developers anyway (not all games are doing the same right now).

So the one you call GT# is actually the only gamertag you have and can manage/change. How it shows in game and everywhere else, for the time being and untill all systems/applications are aligned to the new system, really depends on how it was implemented
in that specific case.
