I have two gamer tags on Xbox and I can't change it

We notice that you mention a main gamer tag and secondary one. One way for you to test what account is truly the correct one is to sign into your Xbox account on Xbox website. Since you are having issues changing it, you may want to see if you can change it by using a browser. Before that, please let us know the following details:

1. May we ask in what game or part of the settings on Xbox Series S that you can see your gamer tag shows differently. Please post a screenshot and send it to us through private message. Please use this link: click here
   
2. In what country/region are you currently residing? Please do not disclose your complete home address.
   
3. May we ask if you can see two gamer tags here? Please follow this link and open a browser. You may use InPrivate Window of your browser. Link: Xbox Profile (xbox.com).
   
4. Try to sign in with another account and see if you found your other email account to be holding the other gamer tag.
   
5. Is there another profile signed in to your Xbox Series S? Does the gamer tag shows the same as you have seen to your profile?

That is okay, thank you for the response! I still have not resolved this issue and I feel like I have exhausted all options other than deleting and remaking my account, which I hope I won't have to do because I have a prepaid gamepass ultimate already signed up for 3 months for this current account. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to fix this.

I do not think they are two gamer tags. One is a gamer tag and the other is your nickname. The gamer tag cannot be changed without paying a fee. Your nickname you can change anytime you want
