I have tried to download an app but it has been stuck on ‘installing’ for multiple days....

Hi Evan, sorry to hear you're having trouble with installing an app on Xbox.

Try clearing the Xbox cache and checking if the install either cancels or goes through after that.

To clear the cache on an Xbox:

1. Power off the console.

2. Unplug the power cable.

3. wait for at least 1 minute.

4. Plug it back in and turn it on.

Have you tried to restart the install if it has been stuck on 80% it might be corrupt and also have you checked your internet connection in case it disconnected during the download?

its on my pc and i did i re installed it and like wont download the app just stuck on 25% and i let that go for days

I have the same issue. The MCC app got stuck in a wierd "has Update" but wont update loop. Xbox app can't launch the game. So I uninstalled it and tried reinstalling it. The uninstall didn't free up the disk space, the reinstall wouldn't complete, just says
installing. I tried in MS Store app, the install doesn't even start downloading before it errors out with a "0x803FB107" error. Tried a number of things, not getting closer to a solution. The Outer Worlds wont even launch either...

I've downloaded mine but the bloody installation is stuck at 1% been stuck there for over 3 hours now before i tried uninstalling and reinstalling didnt work though
