My console is the Xbox series X. My controller stopped working last night while I was playing a game and it said reconnect controller but it was still on. I’ve tried holding the pairing button but nothing happened. I’ve tried taking it out of range of my Xbox to see if it would shut off. I’ve tried restarting and unplugging my Xbox. But my elite controller still has the light on and won’t do anything. Even the button to change paddle presets isn’t turning those lights on.

I have a regular xbox one, no I’m not using insider build nor beta os. Yes it is only happening with this game and I have tried downloading other games and they will download just fine no problem. To try and fix this problem, I’ve restarted my xbox multiple times, reset it multiple times, tried downloading it offline, I don’t know what else there is.

Ok so it’s wired an yes I’ve used it on my older Xbox One original an it worked but now it won’t my mouse works fine. My keyboard turns on an lights up but no buttons register. I’ve tried restarting my Xbox switching usb changing the language of my Xbox nothing works so it would be greatly appreciated if you knew.
