I have to Test Connection every time I turn on my 360 to connect to Live

Once I test connection I'm able to sign back in and it's fine. But it's becoming annoying having to do every time.

If you are wireless can you also state whether you are using the white or black external adapter or the Xbox 360S Internal adapter

Can you also post whether you are using a static/manual ip address on your Xbox or whether it is set to auto

I have the EXACT same problem. It started with the system update that introduced Smart Glass. The interesting thing is I bought a second Xbox at Christmas to use as an extender in another room and that one immediately signs in XBL and doesn't need me to
test the connection before it is able to sign in my account. This tells me Microsoft messed up something with that system update because I had no issue before that.

 

Microsoft must be having problems as it is happening to many people.

 

I'm not able to recover my profile, I get an error code. My GT corrupted, and now I can't get it back. I test my connection and everything is perfect... I tried to sign in on a different account and it works fine. So I know it's not my xbox OR my connection....
I'm lost I've done everything I can think of, but I keep getting an error code when I try to recover my GT, and it says "try again later."
