I have to buy something I already have.

So a long time ago I bought a BF4(Battlefield 4) add on for the Xbox 360 called china rising,but on the Xbox one it says I don't have it and need to buy it again.

The One does have a USB port, but since the 360 is not backwards compatible it will not run the content from the 360.

I know how you feel, I had the same problems.

Thing is that the XBox 360 games do not carry over to the XBox One forcing us players to buy it again. Think it´s the same reason why the 360 Disc games don´t work on the One either, the games just have the quality that the XBox One delivers.There have been
some offers in the past that if you Pre-Order a certain game for the 360, you can download it for the One Free of Charge.

Battlefield has no such offer so we are forced to buy it twice if we want to play it on both Consoles.

Well it did help,but it's a add-on and all your data should transfer through Orgin or however you spell id

 

You should try going to EA's website and having a live chat with support. I bought the battlefield 4 premium for 360 and then, when I got my xbox one, I found that it doesn't carry over to the new console. I went and talked to EA support and they gave me
a code for the xbox one version of it.

They may or may not give you anything, but it's worth a try.

 

EA offered a launch offer to migrate Battlefield content when the Xbox One launched but it was a limited offer.

If you bought it on 360, it isn't available on Xbox One unless you buy it again or you migrated at the launch of the Xbox One console.

Yeah, I was way past the cutoff period for migrating DLC when I got my Xbox One, that's why I tried EA support. They were really helpful and it was sorted within about 10 minutes. Actually, they've been great every time I've had to contact them.

Go to ea.com and sign into your origin account, then go here:
help.ea.com/.../new

and select a topic and fill in the box beneath that with a brief outline of what you need help with. Then click the orange "Next" button at the bottom. Then click the "Chat Now" button to get to a live chat.

Make sure you have all your details (registered email address, date of birth etc.) in case they ask.

Hopefully they'll just give you a code for the DLC like they did for me.

EA actually extended the offer indefinitely, but there are people (like shadow) who ran into issues.
