    Visual Problem

    Turned my xbox on and green and purple vertical lines are on the screen can anyone tell me what is happening I've reset my xbox and changed the hdmi port

    Purple Lines.

    Are the purple lines caused by my GC or my Av Adaptor? I can always get the RROD off but, only sometimes can I get the Purple lines off. They'll be off the screen. WHen I get off and then get back on theyre back.

    I'm not sure but it looks like it may possibly be an issue with your television. Are you able to try plugging into a different television / monitor to see if you get the same problem occur on that?

    It could be the cable your using, I was getting green lines on my screen and when I moved my hdmi cable they stopped. I bought myself a new one and I have never had the lines since.

    HDMI Cable Issue

    The TV background is purple. It is not because of the XBOX. There is 0 picture coming from the Xbox. I was saying the only way I could get to the screen with the purple background (HDMI 1) is for something to be hooked up and turned on out of the HDMI 1
    port. The HDMI 1 background is purple.

    hey, the reset does go properly based on the lights on the console it completes the reset.. directly to the tv via hdmi i do get picture however at anything over 480p it has green and purple dots and lines and flickers constantly. so there are issues when
    connected to the tv directly as well. i have tried all 3 hdmi ports on the amp, both hdmi ports on the tv and 4 different cables
