I have the Xbox live gold but do not play multiplayer please help me​

Check in the "Subscriptions" section of the console if the service is active. If active, try deleting your profile from the console and re-download it again.

I'm signed into xbox live and have a gold account only when i try to play multiplayer it says i require xbox gold please help

Thanks for posting, the reason that Minecraft is not allowing for these functions seems to be attributed to the lack of an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Xbox Live Gold is needed to play any multiplayer functions in any game, this means that all games that
have a single player option are playable but, if a multiplayer option is there, a gold subscription is needed to play it.

Please note that you need Xbox Live Gold to play online multiplayer.

In general, I advise to delete the profile, do a power cycle by turning off the xbox and removing the power cable for 15 sec, and after that re download the Xbox profile.

As soon as you want to play online multiplayer games on Xbox through your console, you will need a paid Gold membership.

If your parents don't want to pay for Xbox Live Gold, you could play Fortnite on a PC for free.
