    I have sound, but no picture appears.


    So I just went to turn my Box on today, but I have no picture. I can hear the start up sounds, and the menu move around when I move the controller, however, just a black screen. I've tried the hard reset, I've unplugged everything, and I've used multiple
    HDMI cords; all of which work with my 360 and PS4. I can't seem to figure out why I have no picture. Nothing I've found online solutions-wise is working. Please Help!!!

    I have sound but no picture?

    Hopefully something in here can help, but it sounds like you have pretty much tried everthing.

    I had the same thing happen to an old unit of mine, I tried all the steps you have listed and nothing worked.

    Turned out in my case the GPU had died, so it was either repair or replace for me.

    Unless someone has some further steps you can try you may need to ring support and order a service/repair.

    Hi, did you try everything on the link below. in particular the display reset ?

    support.xbox.com/.../tv-or-monitor-screen-is-blank-while-connected

    1.If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.

    2.On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.

    3.Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. DO NOT LET GO until the second
    beep occurs.

    Note This will boot your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480). To reset this setting, go to Settings in the guide, select Display & sounds, Video options, and then TV Resolution.

    Maybe also try a different HDMI port on the TV.

    Well do you have sound when you use componant cables (Yellow white and red cords) IF you do have sound then try another HDMI cable. See if that solves your issue

    Thanks for the info. My Xbox One picture does appear at the top. Sounds like there is nothing I can do right now to change the appearance then.
