i have some problems when i turn on my xbox 360

i'm having the some problem, but when i use my old xbox 360 it worked but my new 360 won't

Could the may 19th update have some thing to do with this? Could it have bricked my xbox? Because it woked fine when i turned it off on the 19th, Than the next day (The 20th) When i went to turn it on the light on the power supply would turn red and my 360
wouldent turn on. So after hearing about this new update issue, I am kinda wondeing if it bricked my xbox.

Ya, My 360 slim worked great, I had it for about 5months with 0 problems. Then i got the update on the 19th and it worked great when i turned it off, But when i turned it on in the morning (The 20th) The light on the power supply would turnd red. So i thought
nothing about it so i just bought a new power supply and the power supply light still turns red when i try to turn on my 360. And after hearing about all these problem with this new update, I would have to say that the update bricked my 360. So now it's on
it's way to the repair center.

Hello , I had almost this exact problem about 8 month's ago. Everything was working except for the wi-fi on my xbox. What xbox do you have? Do you have a new slim edition or and original 'xbox 360 fat'? There could be a number of problem's but however
it sound's like something might be wrong with your modem. When I had this problem, it turned out nothing was wrong with my xbox but the company that was broadcasting the signal. They apparently turned off or reset something by accident. I would call your land
lord and find out what company you are with (If you don't know at the moment), then I would call the company and tell them the problem and they should run some test's. Hope this help's, if it does not I can try giving you some more tip's or solutions. Have

"When it is connected and we turn on the Xbox 360, the Xbox logo appears and then it just gets stuck on that screen. If we power off the Xbox 360 and turn it back on, it boots fine. If the Seagate hard drive is disconnected, the Xbox 360 turns on with
no problem, and once we connected the Seagate hard drive afterwards, everything works fine. It's just that first boot that doesn't work with the Xbox 360. It's rather annoying to have to either unplug the hard drive and reconnect it every time we want to
use the Xbox 360 or to have to turn the Xbox 360 on twice every time."
