I'm sorry to hear that. Sadly, if the tag is not allowed, there is nothing that can be done. The gamertag could have been issued a permanent suspension or any other reasons for not being permitted.

If it doesn't meet the requirements you will get that message and will need to pick a different one.

The username in question is “DrCloink”. Just won’t let me have it
