I have Sea of Thieves on my Xbox 1 and Want to download it on my PC.

I am trying to download Sea of Thieves on my Windows 10 PC because I have it on Xbox. I am aware that this game is a play anywhere title so I should be able to install it for free, but I cannot. Upon loading the Sea of Thieves page while signed in on my Microsoft account, the same one I use on my Xbox, it asks me to buy the game instead of simply showing the install button. I have tried some of the methods that can be seen on Youtube, such as the one where you reach the Microsoft store page through the Xbox Console Companion app and these do not seem to work.

Is your Sea of Thieves on Xbox on disc or a digital download? You can only download Play Anyway titles for either Xbox or PC if you own the digital license disc copies don't qualify to download on PC for free.

I can download sea of thieves on my pc even if it's says that I bought or for Xbox one?

Thank you for your help, the game that im trying to download is sea of thieves. And I have tried to restart my computer multiple times. I have stopped and restated the download, and I have uncorrupted all the files on my pc I think.
