To reset your PIN for Parental Controls on your Epic account, follow these steps:

Go to https://www.epicgames.com/account/parental-cont... and log in.

Important: If you are a parent/guardian of an account, you still must log into the child's account to update the PIN code related to that account.

If you are mainly playing on consoles, make sure that you are logged into the same Epic account. The best way to do it is to compare the Account ID on the website to the in-game Account ID, they have to be the same. To see how to find your Account ID, please see:

If you've done all the possible troubleshooting steps but you're still having issues with this specific game, I would recommend that you submit a support ticket directly to Epic Games Support. Do you manage to accept friends now?

I have a very similar problem: when my son want to add friends, the parental PIN is required. I try to enter it, it says PIN incorrect.

I then click on "modify PIN", which does bring me to the EPIC website on my account. There I can connect with the PIN that was said as "incorrect" in Fortnite. I can navigate and change the options in parental control without any problem. I can even change the PIN.

But if I go back to Fortnite, try to accept friends and enter the PIN which worked right before in the EPIC portal, then it's refused again...

It seems the PIN in Fortnite is not the same as the one in EPIC portal...

Just had this same issue with my son's account. Thank you for your reply as turning on Parental Controls fixed it - could accept friends with a PIN. Will try again in future after turning the controls off again.

Once you have accepted the ToUDo you know the Parental Address? If you don't have the email address of the parental account, then try to sign in on the Xbox - it will show it to you in the ToU process.



Then, take the parental address to
account.live.com/.../reset and try to change the password.



If-when that fails, then go through the steps at
http://account.live.com/acsr then take a look for my 6:18PM post at the bottom of

forums.xbox.com/.../367571.aspx for the remaining steps.



Once you have accepted the ToU, it should remove the non-adult designation. If it does not, then take a look at

support.xbox.com/.../online-safety

i am having a similar problem, my parenting email no longer exists and when i try and accept the new terms and conditions online it takes me back to the log in screen. is there a way to change the parenting email?
