tenure is your continued xbox live gold time. ihave had my account for several years and my tenure shows less than a year because i went silver for a few days before renewing my gold sub. if you have had a xbl account for 3 years but went silver for a day
after 2 years then went back to gold your tenure will show as 1 year or less.

Yeah - I'm having a similar issue. I recently renewed my Xbox Live gold subscription and my tenure has gone from 8 years to 9 years however visually this is not been displayed on the Xbox One after 3 weeks since renewal.

The Games with Gold tile/icon keeps telling me to renew Xbox Live gold when on the home screen but all functionality is still working as my Xbox Live subcription has renewed and is active.

I figured this might be an issue with pushing updated account information to the Xbox One as the website and also on my Xbox 360 it is correctly showing 9 years tenure so I'm just watiing patiently for the devs/engineers to fix this.

I have a similar issue. My gold recently expired and on the very same day renewed for a year with a card. I went from 14 years to 13 years. On the xbox live tab I'm showing 14 years but on my profile is shows 13 years. I know it doesn't mean anything, but
they created the tenure number, so it can at least be accurate!

Hi. Yes, this is actually kind of frustrating. Reason being, I renewed my gold May of last year, I believe it was May, because it was my first account hence, I'd have the tenure. That's why I went back to this account and used it again. I was quite happy
may of 2012 as the tenure was 2 years. Then it turned to 3 years. HENCE, I continued to renew the gold. If it had not of changed tenure, I would have no renewed it and continued using my other account.

Now, all of a sudden you guys change the tenure options? That's not very cool :/

I'd really appreciate if you could put my tenure to 4. I can also show that I've been a loyal xbox live customer, I've always been a gold user, on at least one of my accounts at a time. Let me know...
