I have redeemed. My game but whereabouts is it?

Hi. May you kindly confirm where you're facing these issues: Console (Confirm which console) / PC / Mobile Device. Also confirm where you received the reward/redeem code from.

If you're using an Xbox, try restarting the console.

I have had the same issue a bunch of times; I'll redeem a code for a game, it doesn't show up in my owned games list even after waiting for some time, but when I restart my console, then it does show up.

You could also try going to the Store page for the game, where you should see an option to install it. Make sure you are viewing the Store page for the correct version of the game, if it has multiple versions (e.g. regular, Deluxe, Ultimate etc.).

Usually, content that you buy appears in your games and apps and installs automatically. To check:

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide, and then select My games & apps > See all.
Under Full library > Owned games, you'll see all games that you own with the profile that's signed in to the console.
If a game that you own hasn't been installed on your console, there's a download icon on the game title. Selecting the title prompts you to install the game before you can play it.

NoteTo filter your list of owned games to show only games that aren't currently installed, select the Filter button, and then switch the Ready to play filter to Ready to install.
If you still aren't seeing your game or add-on, sign out and then sign back in. To do so, press the Xbox button , and then go to Profile & system > Sign out. After you're signed back in, use the steps above to check for the content again.
