I have recently had and Xbox app update and as soon as it installed it left me with an oops...

I managed to fix this just recently

It appears to be an issue with the way the windows apps interact and update.

I had recently installed the xbox accessories app from the microsoft store but it never told me it needed a firmware update when connecting the controller.

What fixed it was using the store to update the MS store app, then deleting and reinstalling the xbox accessories app.

After that when I connected the accessories app told me of an update and the screen with the 3 dots looked different generally, like I had a more recent version of the accessories app, although I can't be certain.

What hasn't been "fixed" though is the installing of the HID keyboard device with an inactive or not working driver.

I've ignored that now as it doesn't seem to be doing any harm but I do wonder why that's appearing at all

It's not an update, that's just how much my Xbox storage has left. And until recently, I had the Xbox Insider app on the on the console, but I don't think I was actually in the program.

I have used the Xbox accessories app to ensure that my controller is updated so there is no issue there.

Xbox apps have not asked me to update and I had also recently deleted the app and reinstalled it to attempt to fix the issue to no avail.

My PC drivers are updated.

My Bluetooth connection is fine as the wireless controller works on games that I have installed through the game pass, it just does not work on cloud gaming apps.

Oops! I spoke too soon!

Whilst my EA account is linked to my Xbox account - I am still not able to download games in the Xbox app.

When I click "INSTALL - Included with GAME PASS", it says "Preparing 0% VIEW PROGRESS" the disappears and goes back to saying "INSTALL - Included with GAME PASS"

I had them all installed and one day they just deleted. They were no longer in my recently installed and when I searched for the, it wants me to repurchase them. The only ones left in My Games & Apps are Gears of War Ultimate Edition and Gears of War 2.
