    not sure what to do. please help as I don't want to spend more money than I was trying to.

    I have purchased Xbox live for a year and so I got home, made an account, and redeemed the code. However after going through the process of doing the set up, I found that I couldn't play games online or stream on the Internet. Any solutions?

    Coinstar to "Pay Out" Xbox Live Codes

    I have to say that I'm actually digging this. I think it's a great move by Microsoft to "sell" more XBL codes. I personally have never used a Coinstar machine since I don't want to give them my 8% or whatever they charge, but I see people using them all of the time. I can see a lot of people redeeming their change for XBL Codes. What do you guys think? Would you use a Coinstar machine for XBL codes?

    If you haven't redeemed the code, you can try exchanging it with the retailer you purchased it from. If it's already been redeemed, there is nothing that can be done.

    So i use a £10 gift card top up on amazon then i use that to buy another £10 gift card that you redeem the same to topup £10 on xbox i know i bought a amazon card but they both are 25 character digital top up code you know £10 amazon is the same

    Yes. You must use the £10 on your amazon account (after you redeem the code if you had one) and then purchase a £10 xbox gift card and then redeem that on Xbox for the money.

    Amazon gift card is not the same as an Xbox Gift card, even if they have the same amount of characters in a code. If you try to enter it, it will not accept it.

    If the co.uk is not your country, please go to Amazon and search for £10 xbox gift card. It will be emailed to your email that you have on Amazon and then you redeem it here:
    https://redeem.microsoft.com/enter and then you have the money in your account to use.

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. In the past, customers were not able to complete a purchase for Xbox Live Gold using the currency on their account. The customer would have to purchase an Xbox Live Gold prepaid code with the currency on
    their account and redeem the code. Recently, this method of purchasing an Xbox Live Gold subscription has been changed. Customers are now able to complete a purchase for Xbox Live Gold by using the currency on their account. We hope this helps!

    You may of purchased xbox live or a wallet top up in a regions currency thats different to where you live. Check that your account and billing information is correct. Also check your region settings on your xbox.
