    I have payed for a gamertag change but it has stayed the same


    So i payed to change my gamertag to a classic gamertag to appear in games because i don't like the number id appearing in-game, however it has been 3 days and i'm still appearing as Rkar7039 in games, could anybody recommend a solution?

    Changing gamertag

    The ONLY thing that will change is the gamertag name, everything else stays the same. (Gamerscore, MS points, rep etc).

    Note you have to pay 800 Microsoft Points in order to change a gamertag.

    So you don't want the four digits after your gamertag name and don't want to have to pay to change your gamertag because you think it is going to stay the same?

    Everything that is associated with your gamertag will stay with the gamertag when you change an email address. The same would apply if you decided to pay $10 to change the name of your tag.

    you will have to pay for a name change, you will have no choice but to stay within the 12 character limit as there is no way back to an older gamertag once changed.
