    I have only set peoples home console as mine this year and it's saying that i can't do it again


    Earlier me and my friend were trying to game transerfer and when i got on his account and set his console to my home console it said that i had already done this 3 times this year when i have only done this twice

    What exactly is the message that it is saying?

    Is it saying that the account has reached its 5 times switching limit?

    If it is saying thins then your friend would need to contact xbox support to see if they can reset his home xbox counter.

    You can only switch which console you have set as your profiles home console 5 times a year.

    Is it saying that you have reached the maximum amount of profiles that has set your console as their home console?

    If it is saying this you can only have a certain amount of accounts that has your xbox set as their home xbox I do not know what that amount of accounts are. So what you would need to do is figure out what profiles have your xbox set as their home xbox and
    sign into them and go into settings and check to make your console not their home xbox anymore. There is not anyway xbox support can do this for you.

    Issue with "My Home Xbox" !!!

    Ok, I've been trying to find some help with setting my xbox one console as my home xbox...

    So I only own 1 xbox one console and it has always been set as "my home xbox" under settings for my personal xbox live gold account, but recently I noticed that someone had logged into my xbox live account on a different xbox one and set that xbox one as the
    home xbox. So I immediately went into my settings and set my personal xbox one as the home xbox. Then shortly after that I noticed that my personal xbox one was no longer set as the home xbox AGAIN, so I changed my password to my account and tried to set my
    xbox one as the home xbox again, but this time an error popped up saying that I can only switch my accounts home xbox 3 times per year, so now someone else's xbox one console is set as my accounts home xbox and I can't change it back to mine for A WHOLE YEAR!!!

    Can someone PLEASE help me with this issue?!?!?!?!?!

    ...I changed my account password so if I can just set my console back to the home xbox one last time whoever has been changing it shouldn't be able to change it on me again. I just need to switch it one last time I have only set peoples home console as mine this year and it's saying that i can't do it again :(

    Each user is entitled to 3 home console changes within every 12 month period. If you are receiving this error then you have used those 3. You can contact phone/chat support at

    I can not change my Xbox back to my home xbox.

    Getting a message saying you cannot change it ….? If you have set your Home Xbox 5 times within the past year, you'll need to wait 1 year from the first time you set it before you can change it again.

    3 Xbox's, one house, only 2 accounts.

    On my console it says only 5 switch's for home console a year(only have one left). And also we both bought a copy of the game. Mines digital and hers is physical. All we're trying to do is share gold like it says we can do with the family feature.

    Right, but in order for you to share with your brother again, you would have to set his console as your Home console again.
