I have one gamertag on two emails and I need one gone

I was trying to swap two gamertags using Microsoft's recommended way (Use a third email temporarily) when, while transferring the first gamertag, it ended up being on the first email address and the third email address. I have
no idea how it happened, but trying to transfer the second gamertag to the first email address gave me the "There's already a gamertag here." error, and the same error came up when transferring from the third email to the first.

So here I am, signed in to the first email here, and the third one on the 360. Can anyone help me get rid of the duplicate gamertag?

Please see the verified answers. The move process can take up to 24 hours to fully complete, it should be fine after 24 hours, if it isn't you need to contact Xbox Support

I should answer my question since it got fixed. I contacted Xbox Support, and the problem was that it takes up to 24 hours for the gamertag to be transferred between emails, and if it takes that long you're temporarily able to log in on the old email, at
least in my case. Now the old email properly says it has no gamertag on it.

This is the exact same thing that has happened to me today. After waiting another month to try and move my accounts around. I have this gamertag on two Microsoft accounts. This is getting annoying.

No, my GT has 2!! Email addresses associated with it somehow. and one of them needs to be gone! I know about the personal info but the email address i am mentioning is junk. Every order I make I get two emails one on the one that I want associated with it
and the other on an OLD one that USED to be associated with it.
