I have not been able to rate my game that I got from my local Gamestop store, its installed ...

Was not sure if this belongs under support or Discussion tab in any case, I have not been able to rate my disc game on my xbox one system, please note that my Xbox one system is reading the message "out of warranty" already, seems to be
having some disc reading problems, been having to take discs out ejecting them then the second time I put them in they read just fine, seems to be doing that after a few Microsoft updates have happened to it in the last few years, otherwise the system is stable
still. anyway

So I got my disc version of this game at gamestop, my Xb1 system has 500GB version also have an 3,0 usb 4tb external hd drive, I noticed that under Microsoft store for Far Cry 5 it reads it as this
The product is installed.

when I went to install the game it asked me to do the downloading updates at the same time, I don't no if that's what broke the rating system or since its still showing it as not owned game under Microsoft store for this game even with the product is installed
message, otherwise the game features seems to play just fine, just the small problem that I can't rate it at all. otherwise its playing fine even with that small drive reading problem that I been having within the last year that it started with my final fantasy
xv game.

I had no problems using the season pass code that GameStop had provided me with, only problem is with the Far Cry game disc not reading as owned under Microsoft Store main page for Far cry 5 game, since I can't rate it but I can play it from the disc just fine
anyway once I put the disc in the drive 2nd time since it fails to read it the first time I put it in, but again 1st time ejected since it doesn't seems to read some discs ok anymore in my xbox one system, same problem for my copy of final fantasy xv game,
I have to put its game in 2 times again on the second time it reading the disc.

are these the best place to report problems with my physical Xbox One Far Cry 5 game disc,

again its saying in Microsoft store that I don't own it, so I can't rate my store brought physical game from GameStop. , that's the problem I was trying to report here, today the disc is reading just fine, I uninstalled it and then reinstall it, then did the
updates but still the Microsoft store is saying that its installed but is not letting me rate it , its still saying that I don't own the game message even thou I have my physical copy of it installed on my Xbox one system. I hope that better helps explain
the problem so it can be fixed in the next updates if that's possible, or this problem needs to be fixed maybe in the next Xbox one system updates. on a side note, I don't no if that much people know about the forrums on xbox one website here, it seems like
these forums don't get that much people looking at them, I don't no if this is the best place to report my problem with my physical xbox one game disc reading in Microsoft store app as not owned when installed on my system, since I have no luck getting it
to read as owned I hope in the next patches or updates that problem is fixed again I am not sure if this was the best place for me to report this problem with my new game or not.

 

The store will say you don't own it because you didn't buy it digitally from the Xbox store.

 

but that doesn't explain why I can't rate my brand new game on its far cry 5 page you used to be able to rate new games that you got, its not allowing me to post it under Rating and Reviews section for this game or post of a review , since I do own the physical
version of this game that I just got from GameStop the other day.

Again I do own it as the Physical Disc version of this game, I don't understand why I can't rate my Physical copy of this game, I don't have this problem with my other Physical Xbox games online, just this one copy of far cry 5 disc that I got this week from
my local GameStop's store is having this problem.

 

The physical disc version came with Doomsday Prepper Pack add-on from my local GameStop store here in Redding, CA

and I also got the season pass from my local GameStop store, again I don't have an problem rating my physical final fantasy xv game disc online, it just seems to be an bug with this game only online at Microsoft store,

again it not should matter if its an digitally game or the physical version the page saying rating and reviews page is disable for my copy of this game since its still reading it as not owned., so I can't rate or review my physical copy of this game,

again the problem is only effecting this game as far as I can tell.

the only other bug maybe I noticed on my xbox one system is my final fantasy xv game is pulling up rare achievements for the windows edition for Final Fantasy xv Xbox one addition game, when I not accessing the system in its screen saver like mode. but that's
not related to this problem at all with this far cry 5 game.

 

ok I need to make a correction this problem seems to be effecting a few games in Microsoft Store , I just checked my physical copy of Assassin's Creed@ Origins, also has it as not owned and has Rating and Reviews disabled, maybe an update to Microsoft store
app on the Xbox One system has broken being able to rate and Review Physical copy's of these games, since the problem seems to be with more than just my new Far Cry 5 game, since it seems to be effecting a few new and old Physical games now. Fallout 4 game
also has Rating and Reviews disabled too now it seems for my physical copy of that game too.

I guess either this is a new system bug or Microsoft disabled rating and review page our Physical copy's of Xbox One games discs since they don't read as owned anymore in Microsoft store app on our Xbox one systems?

since this is not effecting digitally brought games in Microsoft store app , its just the physical title disc versions of any of these games being installed and reading now as not owned in Microsoft store app on our Xbox One Consoles which seems
to disable rating and review page for our physical Xbox One Games.

 

I checked it on my end before I posted earlier and it shows that way on every disc game I own. I don't know if it's been like this previously or not because I've never rated any of the games.

 

you used to be able to rate and review physical copy's of the Xbox one games in the past, so I think its a new change to their Xbox system I own the black Xbox one system with 500GB size hard drive in it, which is out of warranty
already, since I owned it for more than 2 years, I had to get an 3.0 external 4TB drive for all the physical games I have gotten so far, again I think that the Microsoft store updates maybe broke our option to rate & review the physical copy's since they used
so show up as owned when installed on our systems in the past, I think that sometime this year that may of changed I think anyway that's what's going on with it, also my final fantasy xv Xbox one physical game is having a bug where its loading the page for
the windows edition version instead of linking it to the Xbox one version, but that's another bug that seems to be happening in the last few weeks since they added the windows version of that game to their Microsoft store.

at all again I don't no if that way related to the problem with Far Cry 5 rating and review system not working on my xbox one console or not. its game hub for Final Fantasy XV is linking to the Windows Edition on my xbox one console for the Day One Edition
of that game which may not or maybe related to this problem of not being able to rate the games, which may get fixed in an update for Microsoft store I don't no yet anyway, if an fix to this problem is coming out soon.
