I have no idea where to post this but I had a 4 tb hard drive for my xbox one

and all my games are on that hard drive the hard drive is no where in sight cant seem to find it I have all digital bought games on that hard drive is there a way to transfer all them games on my other tb hard drive since all the games were digitally bought
if not I will be kind of upset as that was a few thousand dollars in just the games

does the xbox 360 support external hard drives?

i am gonna buy a 4 TB external hard drive for my xbox one this week. i know it's overkill but i wanna have a lot of storage space. i was wondering if the xbox 360 also supports external hard drives. cause if they do, i'll buy another 4 TB for my 360. like
that i can install every game i own on it.

Same for me!! Oh my God I never thought I'd find someone who had the same problem! No offense, but this is a huge relief. Also, the xbox one is powerful enough to read 1 TB of data, people I know have 5 TB Hard Drives.

 

Hi I'm not quite sure if I understand your post so hopefully this will help.

As long as the external hard drive has installed itself correctly you can move items from the internal drive to an external one by highlighting the game in my games and apps on the Home screen pressing the menu button and selecting manage game then on the
left hand side will be a drop down menu that allows you move/copy/uninstall the game.

As for the comment about a few thousand dollars in games, the games will still be available to be downloaded again against the account that was used to purchase the content and they are not lost.

 

thanks for the reply that's actually really helpful to hear I kind of didn't want to lose all them games because the hard drive that had them is no where in sight I have torn my house apart it might of gotten stolen now I am sure it there are a lot of drug
addicts where I live so breakins happen a lot as long as its on the acct I will just try and transfer them

 

When you log into the console using your account on the far right hand side of my games & apps will be all of your digital games waiting to install also as long as the console you used to play the games on was connected to live then you game saves should
also be okay.
