I have no games to play MICROSOFT!!

I have day one edition console and 4 games. All 4 games i own require massive updates or have somehow managed to delete themselves from the console and I have to re-install them. However, the *** up re-installation process seems to download the entire game
which is around 35GB and not install from the disk... wtf is going on Microsoft.

Battlefield 4 seems to have a massive update every week, Dead rising 3 has a 13GB update! Why? Forza uninstalled itself and re-installation has taking over a day.

So to play BF4, i will have 2-3 hours wait, Forza 5 - 2-3 days download maybe, dead rising 3 is a day worth of downloading and finally zoo tycoon but i don't class that as a game. £45 for zoo tycoon, it's worth £10 at the most. i completed it in an 2 hours
and the stupid zoo limit makes the game boring..

I have three choices the way i see it, either play offline on my own, endure a few days worth of updating games which will badly affect the internet for the entire household or sell my Xbox One and get a PS4 with proper background downloading.

I shall add that my internet connection is 2meg but the majority of the world population doesn't have access to an interne

t connection to download these ridiculously massive updates within 10 minutes. There is no need for them. It just shows how much these games were not ready for release.

In fact these past few weeks i have been playing my xbox 360 and pc games because i know i wont have updates for them or they will be small in comparison to Xbox One updates. A typical 360 update is under 10MB. A typical Xbox One update is 1GB+.

Warning stop buying xbox one digital games

No Microsoft have taken all my digital games from my xbox account so i can't play them so I get an error message when trying to play them.

 

No way to play to the games I have on my HDD

Good luck with PS4. But I would highly recommend you try to see if you can upgrade your internet speed. All blame is not on Microsoft. The fact that the majority of the world doesn't have an internet connection has no relevance at all to what you are saying.

Everyone keeps talking about these awful D/L times....but I have the whole 40 GB installed in like 20 minutes and the games is playable in half that time.

 

Don't threaten to go to PS4, if you wanna go, just go.

I hate to see someone leave the xbox fold, but there's more direct ways to make a point, while not having your fellow xbox fans feel down.

I share some of your concerns, I do. I'm hoping MS will make this update WELL worth it. Seriously.

 

Now I recommend you at least contact support or even call something don't just go on the forums and start complaining fix it complaining does nothing if you try fixing the issue then you will be happy so please don't just come to xbox one support to not
even ask a question.

 

the fact is this is a new xbox with new games, if you think ps4 isnt having the same problems your sadly mistaken. as stated above poor internet may be a issue, would you prefer no updates and non working stuff all together? everyone knew going into the
day one there would be issues and its our job to get the 1st gen xbox up to speed. negative attitude only promps negative feedback. contact official support if you have went through all the basic troubleshooting tips, happy gaming.

 

I love it when people say they are getting a PS4. It makes me laugh, because I've gone to the PS4 forums and they are plagued with networking issues.

 

Saying this users net connection is an issue is deflecting from the actual issue. Games released too early and a pure lack of games and apps. My One is sitting dark as I play 360 and DayZ. Games aside, until more apps brings more reason to use the One, its
3rd behind my 360 and PC. Really disappointed..

Question, why could an emulator not have been written to enable Arcade games to play on the One?
