I have my friend's account on my xbox and it automatically signs me in and keeps doing it

To start, let's have you check your settings to make sure no one is set to sign in automatically:

1. From the dashboard, press the Xbox button to bring up the side menu, and navigate to Settings

2. Under Account, select "Sign-in, security & passkey" (you may have to enter your passkey if you have one set)

3. On the following screen, make sure that "Instant sign-in" is set to "Nobody"

Can you double-check that option and report back when you have a chance?

I cant find an xbox companion app on my PC to sign out of do you mean the phone app? I cannot sign into the xbox with another account. It just keep automatically signing me into my account. I want to sign to xbox with my sons account so he can share my gamepass/games?

If you reset, not keeping games and apps, all you need to do is sign back into the Xbox with the same account details you used before. All your games and apps will be in the ready to install section of "my games and apps" and your friends list will automatically
be back.

I'm having the same issue. My Skype account has been suspended, and I can't seem to recover it. So I made a new Skype account. The problem is, when on my XB1, it keeps trying to sign in with the suspended account, which I have no access to. I need my xbox
to allow me to INPUT the sign in credentials, but it automatically uses my old account credentials, which, again, is a suspended account. Has anyone been able to resolve this issue?

I cant sign into my xbox live account but when i go on to another profile i have it automatically signs me in and on the profile im tring to use its just keeps giving me a message like"Cant connect to Xbox LIVE. Select Test Connection to troubleshoot, or
try downloading your profile again"
