    Hi, so as the question say, i have Xbox minecraft since the Xbox one Minecraft ed, so i have the game bought, a digital copy, so i logged into my xbox app on pc, but can´t play it, even when its bedrock edition, it requires a gamepass sub or buy the game again, but i alrready have it, i don´t want java, nor nothing, just the same bedrock edition, on xbox app, just want to play it on my pc

    Microsoft is saying I no longer own a game, is there any way I can get it back?

    Hi, minecraft has 2 version bedrock and Java. Bedrock is the version you can get on Xbox but you can also download it through the Microsoft app on your pc and use this version which is what I did. When I updated the game I would do so through my Microsoft app on pc however I could also access this on my Xbox which weirdly it says I still own it there.
    Minecraft isnt a play anywhere title though so simply having the Xbox Bedrock version would not have entitled you to the PC bedrock version.

    Gotta be something else going on.

    A program like play anywhere as an extreme exception rather than the rule, 99% of software requires you purchase it on every platform you intend to use it on

    Minecraft is not a Play Anywhere title, so you would need the PC version of the game in order to play it on PC.

    My account is already migrated but Minecraft is still asking for me to pay to play Java Edition despite already having Bedrock Edition. What else do I have to do?

    yes i installed minecraft on my mobile before, but i can play it on my pc since i bought it. So why cant i play java, is it because i installed the mobile version first? but even so, its doesnt change the fact that i can play bedrock on pc, but not java.
