I got an update after I re-did my (NXOE). Now i have no downloaded games, apps, dlc, ect.

Xbox deleted everything from hard drive

I turned off my Xbox this morning. I turned it back on and a message popped up saying my console needed a system update. I downloaded the update and it deleted everything off of my hard drive. How do I get my lost data back?

none of that help because I had already wiped my hardrive clean of everything that was on it including the saves, profile, downloaded content, cache, and my downloaded games...

Hey there Datak Serpent.

If you opted out of NXOE your console receives an update which Factory Resets your Xbox One. This was stated in the Terms and Conditions you accepted before opting into the NXOE. You should still have access to any games and saves you had, you'll just need
to re-download and install those games.

I'm very sorry to hear you lost everything on your Xbox 360. I know this situation is not ideal, but you can redownload the items you lost by following the steps on our Redownload
Xbox Content page.

To properly transfer the licenses, yes you'll need to redownload the content. However, if you already have the content saved on your hard drive, the system will only be downloading the licenses. So it won't take as long to redownload everything because you're
not downloading all of the data.

The fastest way I've done it in the past, is open my download history on the computer while I have my console on and queue everything from there. It'll automatically start downloading on the console and it's a whole lot faster to go through the list on the
site than on the console.

Also, when you do start redownloading, you may get a message that the content is assigned to another console. Just start a download, open your active downloads on the console and select the download by pressing A, and then choose Download All Items.

The content needs to be downloaded by the account that has that console listed as the Home console.

Majority of the time if that account is the one who purchased the content then it will be shared by the other users on that console.

I purchase everything through my account, then my Kids accounts are able to access the content.

I'm afraid you've just lost everything on the hard drive. You will have to format it in order to use it again, and when you do, everything will be wiped from it.

You can recover any gamertags from Xbox LIVE, as long as they are online profiles. Any game saves you had will be lost unless you backed them up.

If you have downloaded any content before, you can download them again for free, via the Download History.
