    Hello, I had an Xbox for about a year until about a year ago, when it broke. I recently tried logging into my Xbox account on my PC as I was thinking about getting a new one. When it came to the password, I put in the one I remembered that I always used, but it rejected it, saying it was now linked to an email beginning with N. I never had an email beginning with N, so I checked my emails, and about a month ago I got loads of emails saying my password was being changed, etc., so I called Microsoft Support, gave them loads of details, and they said they would speak to someone higher up and would transfer me, but then I hung up.

    I know how frustrating it can be to lose access to one of your accounts. The only alternative you have at this time is to submit the account recovery form. There is no other way. I have already investigated them and the only way to recover an account is as follows.

    The first thing is to enter information that the account has, in case a phone number or card has been deleted, you should simply omit that information and not add it to the form, you can enter the following link:

    Here are some tips to help you complete the Microsoft account recovery form:

    -One piece of advice I can give you is to get as much information as possible, the more information you give to Microsoft that can verify your identity and recover your account. Include your name, email address, date of birth, phone number, and any other information you can remember about your account.

    -Be specific and precise. When answering the questions on the form, be specific and precise. For example, if you are asked for your date of birth that you used to create your account, don't just say "my date of birth." Instead, say "my date of birth is [date of birth]."

    -Remember your passwords. If you know your account password it can help a lot to recover, as already said all possible information may be necessary.

    -Be patient. The account recovery process may take several days or even weeks. Don't be discouraged if you don't receive a response right away.

    You can't

    If you lost access to your account you have to call support or fill out the lost access to my account form at accounts.Microsoft.com

    Hi! My name is Ben an Independent Advisor and an Xbox gamer just like you and hope you are doing well.

    Based on your screenshot it seems it is indeed 2 different account that has been saved on your Minecraft. With regards to that, reason why it logged into a new account means that the original gamertag or Xbox profile you are trying to sign in is associated on a different email address than the one you have tried.

    If you can remember other email addresses you might have used for Xbox or Minecraft, I suggest to try signing in each of email accounts you have via https://account.xbox.com/profile page. Here it will show you the correct gamertag/Xbox profile once you sign in to the right account/email address.

    But if you somehow cannot remember other email addresses you might have used, try to check via https://account.microsoft.com/family page to see if you somehow have associated it on a family group before.
