1. Could you please tell us the game you're referring to that has the resource packs you're looking for?
   
2. May we ask where did you purchase the resources packs? Is it through the in-game store or Microsoft Store?
   
3. Do you see any error message or code? Please post a screenshot and conceal any personal information.
   

To answer your question about previous gamertag, there is a way for you to change your gamertag. However, you may pay for it and there is no guarantee that gamertag is currently available or you may get it now with a suffix. 1. Go to the official website:
   
   Choose your new gamertag
   
2. Sign in with the Microsoft account email address and password that’s associated with your Xbox profile.
   
3. Confirm that you’re signed in to the right account by ensuring it says your current gamertag in the top-right corner of the page after signing in.
   
4. Gamertags can be up to 12 characters long, including spaces. They can’t start with a number. If you receive a “That name isn’t available. Try a different one” message, that means you’ll need to create another one.
   
5. Enter the new gamertag that you want in the text box and select Check availability. You may receive a message that says your desired gamertag is unavailable. If so, try again until one is accepted.
   
6. On the next page, review how the gamertag will look across Xbox services.
   
7. If you’re satisfied with your new gamertag, select Claim it.
