i have internet but my xbox live wont come on

Ive reset my modem countless times deleted my account and tryed to reload it no xbox live it was working yesterday my internet provider is buckeye cable system i made my account yesterday and it was on working fine now nothing help please ..

Have Internet but can't connect to LIVE

i have the same problem from the UK. but the thing is i was playing on xbox live about 3 hours ago and came to play on it again and it wont let me connect it just comes up saying "connected to internet but can not connect to xbox live

 

Cant connect to xbox live

I have been off my xbox360 for a while and my xbox live ran out. I pluged in my xbox360 Internet cable to my router. For some reson it wont reconize my xbox360 internet wire and now I cant go on xbox live. While I was off my xbox360 for about 2-3months i
got a new router. The internet cable works fine. Why wont it reconize my internet cable for my xbox360 and let me go back on xbox live?

 

Hey there, so can you please post a few more details. What error code or message is being displayed when you try and sign-in? What does the connect test say if you run it?

 

I just made my xbox live account yesterday i have a 4gb slim i tried to play battlefield 4 and it wouldnt let me so me not knowing anything about xbox 360s i deleted pretty much everything off of my 4gig hd i started it up today and it wouldnt let me online
i figured it was my modem did a reset same thing deleted my account off of it tryed to reload not reloading cause no live so most of my day ive been trying to troubleshoot i bought the system off craigslist and checked if it was banned everything looks good
(no missing or tore xbox 360 stickers) and like i said i was playing on it yesterday

 

I did get a 80151909 code but my internet is working great on my ps3 and on everything else it just wont let me on xbox live

 

It seems like it has to be some kind of profile issue, I can only suggest checking to see if you're security information is up to date on the account and security proofs have been verified by sending a code to your mobile or secondary email. Follow the link
and click 'Manage your security info' and sign-in to add the proofs:

After that if you're still having issues signing-in try deleting the profile from the console (profile only), clear the system cache. restart the console and re-download you profile.

Been having the same problem myself. Clearing the cache doesn't work and I cannot re-download my profile since I cannot connect to live. Rather infuriating

 

Same problem here, I too have Buckeye internet.

 

Another user posted in a thread that they have called Buckeye who seem to be having some issues with their services so sit tight and hopefully will be resolved for everyone soon, obviously get on to the ISP if you want a more details.

 

i wonder this has something to do with the state of the union address????? today is the 28th..... beside the onslaught dlc.....

I have buckeye too and I'm getting the same error code. Wonder if this is weather related?

 

Idk but my other game systems are runnin fine except ol xbox live
