    I have high FPS but still lags


    I logged on to my computer today and opened pogostruck and i realized that i have what it looks like to be 10 fps so i turned on fps tracker on the game and it said i had 160 fps even tho it looked like 10 i updated all my drivers and it didnt seem to help, i got on other games as well and it was doing the same thing, even GeForce Experience was lagging horribly and i got blue screened while in it, i dont know what to do please help

    Anytime you ask for performance like 160fps you will get stuttering

    120 is the max for most games

    More.fps you push the most dropped frames you get if you are trying to push 4k

    Resolution and high framerates aren't a good combo

    If you have a low end gpu or integrated what do you expect

    Best bet give us your system specs

    Open NAT, playing Wired, detailed network statistics are healthy, with 350MB download speed, 23ms latency and no packet loss. Don't see how it could be my internet, and lag and FPS are too different things if I'm right. Like I could still lag but have
    high fps for example.

    Should I upgrade to Xbox One X?

    I personally would as it allows you to get high FPS for your games and the BONUS of playing in 4k which looks very nice but if you don't have a 4k display I would still recommend as you still get high FPS!

    Just make sure you do a bit of research on the Tv before you buy it, Since it's for gaming it's not all about the picture quality and you should know LED sets have a habit of having a high input lag.

    You will get the people who own one saying i don't have any input lag etc... but to be honest it might not be something the average gamer will notice. With single player games it won't matter much but if your a competitive gamer and play fast FPS games online
    then the extra frames of input lag can make the difference between a kill or a death.

    Yes game modes do eliminate some of this lag, but on some sets it still quite high.
