I have halo 3 downloaded on my xbox 360 but when I press on it says "Can not access xbox ...

Hi there, I've never actually come across this myself, but it kind of sounds like a DMR issue. Are you trying to play the game on an account that didn't originally download it, play offline or on a different Xbox to when it was originally downloaded?

If so, you may need to do a license transfer and then re-download the game so that all profiles on the console can use it, see following for more information:

halo 3 is region locked?Is it locked for belgium. I can't download halo 3 for free. I have Xbox live gold and I am 16+. but the when I try to download it, it says that you have to be 18+. what kind of c*** is this. the game is 16+, so why can' I download

I downloaded Gears of War 3 and Halo 3 on my Xbox 360 so if this happens I hope I don't have to pay for them again.

Every time I try to play the game it goes through the usual title cards and credits but a notification appears on the screen that says I am disconnected from Xbox Live. Which I don't have so that makes sense. Then when I press start to play the game the old Xbox 360 profile select screen appears and displays our old 360 profiles. I click on my profile and after a moment of loading an error message pops up saying

"Xbox Live

Sorry, this profile can't connect to Xbox Live on this console. To fix it, download it again."

But when I go to download it I can't because I no longer have access to the needed information to sign into that Microsoft account to verify what I need to verify so that I can download the profile.

Same issue. Just bought Halo 4 Game of the Year edition which comes with the map pass for downloading all 3 map packs for free. When I go to the in game halo 4 marketplace to download them I have to download them to my usb flash drive since I only have the
4GB Xbox 360 E. However every time i hit confirm purchase i get that same error message. I tried clearing the cache, downloading to both the xbox 360 memory and the usb memory and nothing works, its weird though the downloads for all 3 map packs still show
up under active downloads but once they hit 99% they keep jumping back to 97% then saying could not download "map pack name". This is very frustrating! My guess is that all the halo 4 files have to be together for the map packs to download correctly? But even
then it does not seem to work. Any ideas?
