Kindly check first if your console has enough storage for installing games.

If there is enough storage, please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:



Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console



1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Please try setting up a mobile hotspot connection using your phone, then connect the console to the hotspot connection. Try downloading any game after that and see if it works.

Solution 3: Do a factory reset



1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and keep my games & apps.

Same here I bought the game, came home it installed fine then went to do the patch update and just keep getting "installation stopped!" Have tried the hard resets and still nothing. Uninstalled the game and then reinstalled still won't download that update!

No worries... If u have hard drive connected remove it first then try to install. . One more convenient and best way to install the disc is to just insert the disc and when it asks if u want to install and update together .. In that option just use install
and update later option. . Let the game finish installing and update the game after that... I too had few problems like that and this process solved it.

When you download games from the store, they are not only downloaded they also have to be unpacked and installed. At a certain point the download will stop and you'll likely see a jump from particular percentage to 100% all in one go. This because the data
has been downloaded, it just hasn't completely installed it yet. Quite normal.

Make sure you have enough memory on you hard drive, if that is not the problem try taking save games to that particular game to a jump drive then re download it. I had trouble with this when I tried to download dragon age awakening to my hard drive. If you
are still having difficulties check and make sure you have a good connection to the internet when you are downloading games some times if they cut off or stop mid-way they cannot be resumed and must be restarted.
