i have had it with xbox i cant take no more

i bought my son a xbox one the day it came out with every game possible he ended up with over 30 game not to mention all the many many many add on he pesterd me for only for one day when he turned it on and got an error code e305 and found the xbox one was
now useless and all the add on where lost the console is basically a paperweight now and i refuse to buy another one after days of my son wondering about the house looking like his arms had fell off i gave in and bought him a xbox 360 e and 20 games and spot
on ...........for two weeks now he cant sign in to his xbox live account and cant access his saved game data thats it i have had enough i will no longer use xbox

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

This has got me to my breaking point! I have been trying to play Black ops 2 backwards compatible many times but why can't I go online? Keep in mind that I have played it backwards compatible many times before this. I have chatted with many people on your
support team about this issue ane the only answer I get is that theres a "maintenance issue". And clearly THERE IS NOT! The people I spoke to all gave me the same answerso a full refresh of the console, and delete the game short refresh the console and download
it again. After the second one it usually works but then the next day it does the same thing as before! Why I got so frustrated, because it take FOUR HOURS for it to go through this process! Clearly this is not a maintenance issue and no I was not banned.
Please do something about this.

That's a helluva sentence.

 

Error e305 is just an update error that can be caused by a weak internet connection.

It can be fixed by using a better connection and retrying the update or resetting the console to factory settings.

The fact your son can`t sign into his 360 either points to the fact you do have a dodgy internet connection.

 

At the top of these Forum is a tab labelled "SUPPORT".

Why not click it and get some?

 

Have you took a look at
support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool There you will find the steps needed to do an offline update of the console.

Xbox one is an awesome console so if you find an issue post it here and we will try to help you.

 

Wouldn`t it make more sense to tell him to post in the support forums, not here?

 

You would have been better contacting support instead of giving up and buying an Xbox 360. They would have helped you out and got your system up and running. Should have been a little more patient. Hope you get the issue resolved though.
