I have gold subs. but not on my console

Is your subscription a trial or a regular Gold membership?

Also, have you tried
giving your console a power cycle? If you've just recently upgraded your account to Gold, and your console doesn't see it yet, a power cycle might do the trick to "refresh" the console.

The whole home xbox/gold sharing can only be done with 2 consoles.

If you have a 3rd then you would need separate gold sub,games etc on that console.

It is possible of achieving what you want with one Gold sub, but it would require one console to play on Live as your account.

You set up Console A as your Home Console, then any account on it can use your Gold sub without your Gold account being signed in, then on Console B you sign in with your Gold account to access Live.

The free xbox gold membership is only good if you sign up for the GT on the console and select the optional month sub at the end of creating it.

This past weekend was a free gold weekend where if you were silver you could play Multi-player with out a gold sub.

You would need to create a new account to get the free Month gold sub.

As I mentioned, setting one of the consoles as Home to share the Live Gold will not work in this case. That would effectively mean that only I could game online on the non-Home Xbox. There would be no way for the kids to play online together. This is why
I'm fairly certain I will need 2 Gold subs.

The question is how I should setup those subs with the child accounts to allow for all users on each console to play online. Essentially I need to set 2 consoles as Home (one for each Gold sub), but I'm not sure how to do that with the child accounts.
