    I need help I purchased a prepaid Xbox live gold card and it was working for a few days but now the Xbox says I need to buy a new one. The card I bought was a year's subscription.

    I'm sorry to see any billing issues! We are unable to assist with those here on the forums. If the
    Subscriptions & services page is saying that you currently have Gold, and

    removing and re-adding your profile
    on the console doesn't work, you will want to
    contact us via phone or chat for further assistance.

    Please keep me updated on the situation! If phone/chat are unable to assist you in a way that is your satisfaction, we can see what other options we have here. I have gold but Xbox thinks I don't :)

    So I can't join parties, play multiplayer, or anything because Xbox wants me to buy Gold. Thing is I bought a year of Gold 2 months ago. I'm not paying to buy Gold. I have Gold! I spent over $60 on Gold! Let me play my games and talk to my friends!!

    Double check account.microsoft.com to be sure your subscription is still active. If so try removing the account from the console, doing a hard restart, then re-adding the account.

    I bought Xbox Live Gold, but it says I don't have Gold.

    Hi there,

    please double check http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the subscription is showing there.

    If the subscription shows, try the following steps

    Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)

    Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:
    http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

    Redownload your profile

    If these steps fail, then its best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at

    http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

    Let us know the results
