I have gold but I'm forbidden from playing online!?!?

Hi everyone!

My live gold is due to expire in February 2017 but since a couple of weeks ago I've been unable to play online I get a message saying that the current profile cannot play online and then I'm directed to a screen giving me the option to buy Gold... (netflix
still works, does that not need gold?)

I've already removed and re-added my account on my own XB1 and also tried to use it in another xb1 and I'm always just not allowed to play online. I've never cheated or tried to cheat on any game and I've never done anything that could have got me banned
nor have I received any kind of warning or notification or anything.

I contacted Microsoft support and they told me it was a known bug in their server and that they were working on it, but I'm feeling they just said this to get rid of me because nothing we tried worked.

The new CoD is about to be released and I was not expecting to have to buy a PS4 yet.. get this sorted Microsoft!!

On another note; a few months ago I moved to a new house and my NAT type was strict so I configured the modem to open all the right ports, etc.. and my nat type became open; while trying to fix this Gold problem I've noticed that my NAT is now moderate;
everything is still configured correctly on the modem.

Error after filled in a code for points

The code works. If I'm wright it's the number 1 online store here to purchase Xboxlive gold and Xboxlive points.

Now I'm even forbidden to redeem codes after I pressed the button.

It keeps loading and then there happens nothing.

 

Halo 4 online

I'm having trouble playing Halo 4 online. I have the Gold member.I'm connect online to xbox live. everything seems to work.

But when i try to play Halo 4 online, it says I need to be a gold member with permission to play online.

Please help. I'm new at this.

Have you tried looking on the enforcement home just to ensure you haven't had anything put against your profile? check here:
enforcement.xbox.com/home

Other than that i would advise you speak to Xbox Official Support so they can try look into this for you, contact them here:

just to clarify Netflix used to require gold, but they changed that in June 2014 i believe.

 

(I am the OP, but I posted after my wife was on the PC... she was logged into her microsoft account and I didn't notice until later)

Hi guys, thanks; I didn't think to check the reputation but now I did and it's the same as always "Good Player" with zero feedbacks ever (and now I don't think this reputation thing works well at all, since I've reported many players for boosting or cheating
in games; but never from the XB profile because it takes ages to load... the reports made from game-specific interfaces should count in the Microsoft enforcement thinggy!)

I did contact the official support and they told me it was a known server issue.... but honestly I think that was said just because they couldn't figure out what was wrong; so I thought I might find other people in similar situation...

(about netflix; yeah, since it's a paid service, it never made sense to me that it required Gold; I'm glad they removed that, my house does not work without it...)
