I have Gold but can't use Netflix or Xbox Fitness

My Gold membership renewed automatically yesterday but now it won't let me use Netflix or Fitness (or I assume any Gold features). When I click on "Get Gold" it says I'm ready to go as if it knows I already have it (I was charged for it). But then it goes
right back to the same screen saying I need Gold!

This is frustrating to say the least. Contacting live chat was no help whatsoever. Basically I was told to wait a couple days.

Netflix, Gold Subscription?

Hi I thought that you did not require to pay for an xbox gold subscription to watch Netflix now? I cancelled my gold subscription as I do not use it, but now can't access netflix! Is this correct? Or Do I need a gold subscription?

I cant join parties or watch netflix cuz it says I need xbox live gold, but I have xbox live gold. I even tried to use a trial and when I entered it in it said I already have gold. I can also play online but I cant join parties or watch netflix.

 

I am having the same problem, and my Gold membership renewed on 2/1, and I still can't get to Netflix, even though the "I'm good to go" message appears when the message says I need Gold to access these features!! The messages keep taking me around in a circle.
My wireless connection is good and I verified my Gold membership. HELP!

 

Try cold resetting your Xbox One. Unplug it completely from power for 30 seconds and then reinstate power. The thing is with the Xbox One is that it stays online even when turned off -- regardless of any features you may have switched on or off. This
might be the cause as it's not updated your profile information directly.

If however, this problem persists, contact Xbox Support via the live chat feed and they will assist you in the right direction.
