    Hi, i recently bought a 3 month prepay xbox live card from our local supermarket, Redeemed it on my XB1 and it seemed to go through fine. i can download Games with gold no problems, watch netflix sweet as, all the normal stuff you can do
    with Gold. All except PLAY MULTIPLAYER GAMES. everytime i try i get the message `your account does not allow multiplayer.GET GOLD TODAY`.(My account has over 2 months left)

    I was hoping someone out there may have an idea whats going on.

    Do Prepay cards not work on the XB1? the card doesn`t specify 360 only or anything so did i get a dodgy card? i`m at a loss.

    Any help would be appreciated. thx

    After a multiplayer or custom match I get a notification that the game cannot connect to the xbox store. All of the gold that I have earned is not saved.

    Spoke to Xbox on the phone, turns out they were having an issue with prepaid cards that were redeemed in November.Thanks for the Help and advice. Have an Awesome New year!

    Can you please sign in with the account you redeemed the code against then click on the link below to confirm the subscription status.

    Apart from this you may need to change some account settings to allow you to play multiplayer games and hopefully the link below will help with this.

    Your're right, multiplayer hasn't worked properley since the game launched. As of yet T10 have not even acknowledged that there's even a problem.

    imo the fact they've remained completely silent about it is proof enough for me that something is wrong

    This past weekend was a free gold weekend for silver members. It is now over and you cannot get online multiplayer unless you have a full time gold membership.

    Keep in mind thought that gold is required for online multiplayer. So that error message could simply be due to the fact that you did not have gold. If you get a gold subscription and continue to receive the message, then it would be due to your age and
    privacy settings.
