i have gold 12 month xboxone but online in games doesn't work

I purchased and activated a 12 month gold memebership yesterday. However, my account still says "Free Member", but the expiration date is ok.

My XBOX Dashboard is still recommending Gold. I can't join online games or start a party.

I have an e-mail that confirms the activation, yet, it still doesn't work.

I would check http://account.microsoft.com to verify what subscription you have.

Gold was discontinued in September and Game Pass Core took it over. If you were to redeem a 12 month Gold card, it would just be a 12 month Core subscription. Core does the same thing Gold did, but now gives a handful of Game Pass games as well.

The only time a 12 month would be converted to 4 months is if you add it to a Game Pass Ultimate subscription. It's converted based on price rather than time. 12 months of Gold/Core is equal to 4 months of Ultimate. However, since Ultimate includes Core, you would still be able to play online.

If you only have Game Pass for console, that does not include online multiplayer.

I have never bought 12 months of gold online.

i buy the offer on the dashboard when it pops up and instantly turn off auto renew.

I have same problem, ı membership live gold 12 month. but ı can't play online games

If you can play online then the code worked but you will still be a free member. You need to buy 12 months of gold to be a gold member.
