I have DVR/OnDemand functionality.....

I didnt think this was supposed work through the Xbox One? Anyone else know if they added it or i just got lucky w/my cable provider? I have charter with a scientific Atlanta HD/DVR box.......

Just a heads up.......hook your cable box up.......i have full 100% functionality between my xbox and cable box......DVR/ONdemand accessable w/cablebox remote through the xbox one......no need to program the cable remote.....just use it how you would if
it wasnt connected......

Yep, thats what I planned to do.....thanks for the heads up though......I am a little techie, so I am really going to enjoy figuring out how the whole thing works...

 

I would like to know about this as well. The only thing preventing me from connecting my cable box to my xbox is that it supposedly will not my support my DVR. I don't watch live TV, but I have a bunch of shows I record and watch weekly. It would be pretty
convenient if I didn't have to switch the inputs on my TV every time I wanted to watch one of my shows

How does it work exactly? Where do you find your list of recorded programming?

 

When i hooked it up started watching TV......just to see what does or doesnt happen when i use the cable box remote.....hit the DVR button and it came up then hit TV show i had recorded it played.......i use my cable box remote FFW RWW etc all works then
went to OnDemand it all works there as well......my DVR/OnDemand are channels on my cable box.......so i guess my cable box bypass allows that type of interaction on the xbox one......even the channel guide comes up....just did this you can set it to record
shows also........from what i can see is there is complete functionality from my cable box to my xbox box

 

Do you know how i get my xbox one games to show up under my gamer tag?

 

Hmm good to know. I'm going to hook it up tomorrow after work and see what happens.

Edit: You can't. Xbox One activity doesn't show up on Xbox.com yet. I'm sure the site will be updated eventually to do so.
